Riviera Run - 3rd-5th May 2003 The Riviera Run is probably my favourite run of the year (other than the Italian Job). This year was no exception. The weather was not quite as good as the previous two runs I've done, but the company made up for it. We had a brand new caravan full of fun people, plenty to eat and drink, and lots of Minis. The cruise was good fun, except it rained for a lot of the time and was very cloudy which spoiled some of the fantastic views we saw. The Cornish Mini Club left two lines out of the instructions resulting in Minis trying to go two ways on a single track road and a massive Mini jam. The only downer was that Deano's RSP broke down on the way home, but he did it right next to a big layby with an SOS phone, just up the road from a garden centre with a coffee shop selling yummy cakes. He was probably on the back of an RAC transporter and on his way home within an hour of calling the RAC, which was brilliant service. Click on a pic to enlarge.
