MiniWorld45 - Sandown Park - 3rd-4th April 2004 The first of this year's events to celebrate Mini45 was held at Sandown Park. A good show, mainly indoors with a good display of cars and traders, although no autojumble stands. Club stands were outside. There were several interesting talks during the day, especially one from Timo Makinen and Paul Easter about their rallying days. Saturday night saw a party in a marquee near the camping area with a Beatles tribute band - the Counterfeit Beatles. Congratulations to MiniWorld for the show layout, the main areas were totally dedicated to the Real Mini - imposters were downstairs - at least I'm told they were, I didn't actually go down there!
