LSMOC Track Day - 13th August 2002 The last time LSMOC held a track day was the day I fell in love with Baby - I saw her in a Rover garage on the way home and had to have her. For two and a half years I'd been looking forward to taking her on the track at Goodwood but it didn't quite work out as I'd hoped. Politics, anti-social committee members and B*W hatchbacks got in the way which meant I haven't renewed my membership which expired 12 days before the event. Karen was going representing MiniWorld, so I still went along to watch the fun and I was going to have a spin in Sputnik until he had a tantrum and spilt oil on the tarmac, so it was not to be. Baby still got out on the track in the parade run, so at least we can say we've driven the track. There were some rather tasty non-Minis there as well. Karen met up with some of her ex-colleagues from Autocar. They'd been doing a photoshoot the day before and were too hung-over to take them back that night, so they were still there.
