These are the first pics Julie sent me before I bought him.
I first saw Billy at Beaulieu a couple of years ago and
remember thinking I wished I would own one just like him one day.
Little did I know that he would one day be mine!
Julie called him Sven and I have nicknamed him Billy - Billy the kyd!
Even his registration number was meant for me - K(a)Y D!
Everything about him is either original or has been restored
to as near original as possible. He even has his original carpets
still!
He has an Alexander tuning kit which was added by Julie
using original parts. He has twin H1 Alexander carbs and a 295
Cooper head.
I picked Billy up at the MiniWorld Action Day
at Castle Combe on 29th September. Here are the first pics of him
after I picked him up, thanks to Andy White.
He certainly attracted a lot of attention, we even had a
camera crew turn up!
