As an 'older' Mini lover, I learnt to drive in a Mini more years ago than I care to remember. I had a Woody in the seventies before my kids came along and spoilt my fun, then for years I was stuck with 'sensible', 'family' cars. I then moved onto company cars, but never forgot about the Mini. When my daughter was 17 I encouraged her to buy a Mini, and my son followed quickly afterwards. I started to go to Mini shows and got the bug again. I'd always said I wanted to buy one of the last Minis to be made.
