Right, Baby's most spectacular achievement so far, winning
1st in concours at Stanford Hall in the 1992 - 2001 Minis class. I
only entered her for a laugh, and only had an old teatowel in the boot to
polish her up with.
The pic of Baby winning was shown in the
December 2001 copy of MiniWorld in Model Stuff on page 43, together with a
picture of Baby's baby. The car she
beat was featured in Mini Magazine as cover car the same month!
November 10th 2001 Baby won another prize, this time 'Mini
of the Day' at the ML Motorsport Open Day. Andy from ML took her for
a spin and said she was much better than another 'S' he had just
driven. Adrian Dodd said that of all the cars that day she was the
one who 'did what it says on the box'. Nice to know that people who
know about engines think that she's not just a pretty face!
Baby's Christmas present - some new silver jim-jams to keep
her nice and warm.
