Twinkle is a Rover Mini Sidewalk. She was first
registered in August 1995. Karen bought her in October 1998. She was
then a totally standard Sidewalk, but very quickly acquired alloys, spotlights,
stainless steel arches and a wooden dashboard. During 2001 she had some
performance upgrades, and a few other changes in 2002/2003 Click here to see Twinkle's

Twinkle is a very famous Mini. Her first
claim to fame was to be filmed at the IMM in Gaydon in 1999 - there is a
nice section on her in the Mini Magazine 40th Anniversary Video.
Twinkle
subsequently appeared on 'The Set' at Silverstone representing the
Sidewalk breed!
Karen now works for MiniWorld magazine,
which means that Twinkle makes frequent public appearances and is featured
in DriveTime regularly. In March 2002 Karen won the award for IPC
Young Journalist of the Year for her work at MiniWorld.
